I put the Birdcam at ground level today even though I haven't had many ground feeding birds lately. I can always count on my squirrel friends to show up for their close-ups.
I am looking forward to when the ground birds come in next winter and I use the Birdcam at their level. Last winter I had varied thrushes, spotted towhees, dark-eyes juncos and others all eating off the ground but I never got good shots of them with my regular camera as they move so quickly~
